As we explored ways of living more sustainably with communities, we have paid close attention to the environmental movement and the interplay between individual and community practices. PCD has valued interaction and cooperation with members of the environmental protection and philanthropic sectors. Apart from facilitating exchanges on community ecological work, we have also been supporting partners – through documentation, action research and publication – to present how our choices contribute to a global movement towards more equitable and compassionate ways of living. In addition, we are now exploring new programme work in Hong Kong as the rapidly changing environmental and societal contexts have given rise to social and ecological issues in the city. It is our pleasure to share our initial explorations in this Annual Report.
