What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)? What is its concept? Why does it emerge? These are complicated issues that cannot be well explained with a few words. Therefore, Partnerships for Community Development (PCD) has produced an interesting animation explaining the origin and background of the emergence of CSA. The animation describes various problems brought by modern farming which triggers off the advocacy of CSA as an alternative for sustainable living. Readers who are interested to know about CSA should not miss this animation:

PCD has also produced a DVD about ecological agriculture. It explains how detrimental it is for modern farming to adopt pesticides, chemical fertilizers and hybrid seeds. A group of farmers from south-west China practicing ecological agriculture are invited to explain their choice of returning to traditional agriculture practices and indicate the fruits they have reaped in recent years.
